Workshop Overview
Prepare with Purpose
This comprehensive 8-hour hands-on practical workshop is designed to prepare dental professional candidates for the National Dental Assisting Examining Board (NDAEB) Clinical Practice Evaluation (CPE). The workshop provides focused instruction, practical skill refinement, and evaluation practice aligned with the nine clinical skills and professional practice standards assessed during the CPE.
Candidates will strengthen their understanding of critical evaluation criteria, infection prevention and control requirements, and time management techniques. Through simulated clinical exercises, guided practice, and case-based prescriptions, participants will gain confidence performing procedures on manikins to prepare for the CPE.
Emphasis is placed on helping candidates identify and avoid common critical errors that result in unsuccessful outcomes.
- While attendance at the preparation workshop does not guarantee board examination success, it provides participants with valuable preparation and resources to support their readiness.
- Option to take partial skills if all skills are not needed
Ideal For
- Graduates of non-registered/non-accredited dental assisting programs preparing for the NDAEB CPE
- Internationally educated dental professionals seeking NDAEB certification
- Dental professionals requiring practice of unsuccessful CPE skills
