Sessions start on the hour and must finish by closing time. Our classroom is on the second floor with no elevator. Questions? Call 780-307-3275.
Invigilation policies
Booking
- Exams must be booked at least 7 days before your appointment.
- Book online, email info@westerndentalacademy.com, or call 780-307-3275.
- Accommodations (quiet room, noise-cancelling headphones, extra time, etc.) must be indicated when you book.
- A verbal exam reader is an extra charge equal to the invigilation fee.
- Western Dental Academy reserves the right to reschedule or cancel an appointment if needed. If this happens, we'll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a new time.
Your instructor or exam centre
- Must send us, at least 48 hours before your exam: the exam password or a paper copy sent to our office.
- A list of acceptable items (scrap paper, ruler, calculator, formula sheets, etc.).
- A contact phone number or email for any issues during the exam.
What to bring
- Photo ID and your confirmation email.
- For computer-based exams: a fully charged laptop and its charger. Check with your school which devices are supported; some exams don't allow Chromebooks or iPads.
- If your school or exam provider requires proctoring or lockdown software (such as Safe Exam Browser or Respondus LockDown Browser), install it and make sure it opens before you arrive. Installing usually needs administrator access, so work-managed laptops may not allow it.
- Any other items required for your exam.
In the exam room
- Exams are written in our classroom, supervised by instructional staff.
- Our classroom is on the second floor and there is no elevator. If stairs are a concern, please call us before booking.
- No more than 4 students write at once. Students with accommodations write one at a time.
- Phones and smartwatches off and stored in your bag. Bags, coats and hats stay at the front.
- Only clear water bottles are permitted.
